Study Spanish Courses At University of Salamanca
The Spanish Language and Culturalcourses at the University of Salamanca have beenadded to their curricula in 1929 and have been developed and improved since. Atpresent day, more than 3500 foreign students and teachers are attending theLanguage courses offered at the University.
The University of Salamancahas been assigned by Instituto Cervantes to help with the elaboration of thetwo yearly DELE exams (the official examination for Spanish as a foreignlanguage). They are also responsible for the correction of this same exam.
The Spanish Language courses takeplace in the Escuelas Menores building. This is an old, but fully renovatedbuilding near the famous garden ¨Patio de las escuelas¨, right in the historic centreof Salamanca.It counts with all kinds of modern technology to which all foreign studentshave access to and which helps them to improve their Spanish skills as quicklyas possible.
All foreign students will receive astudent card, which gives them access to all the University facilities(library, e-mail access and sport grounds). The University also offers variousactivities and excursions throughout the year.
Intensive Spanish LanguageCourse
The Intensive Spanish Languagecourses are offered every month, throughout the year and students can enrol for2 or more weeks.

Summer Intensive Courses
The University of Salamancaoffers summer courses during the months of July and August. These lessons arevery similar in structure to the short-term courses, but the summer coursesoffer more subjects to choose from.

The semester programs at the University of Salamanca are offered in Fall, Winter and Spring,with approximately 10 weeks of class for each term. The structure of theclasses is more or less the same as for the short-term courses, but morethoroughly so students will learn more.

- Course duration: approx. 10 weeks each term
- Starting Dates:
* During the 1st Term the subject "Spanish Language" is acompulsory subject and during the 2nd Term the following subjectsare compulsory: "Spanish Language", "Latin American Literature" and "SpanishHistory".
